Future Health Care Gets Another Shot In The Arm In Innisfil

Community continues to step up to help fund health centre

The Innisfil community continues to rally in support of the future Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre.

Recent donations range from a $5 bill dropped off at town hall by a young child to a $25,000 cheque offered by Allan Brown, a Toronto developer with roots in Innisfil.

“Our family is proud to support the community in any way we can. We feel it is our responsibility to participate in creating great projects like The Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre which will benefit all residents of The Town of Innisfil – now, and in the future.”

In addition, Innisfil Community Events Corporation (ICE Corp) recently stepped forward with a $12,500 donation.

“We look around the community for the need – the big things. Health care is a major need for our community. Just one look at the Walk-In Clinic lineup in Town Hall and the need is obvious. We’re proud to do our part to help bring healthcare closer to home.”
– ICE Corp member Rod Boynton

The Sandycove Gift & Craft Sale Committee also recently donated $300.
