Georgian College Auto Show revving up at Barrie Campus

Test drive an electric car, catch a dog show, and ride a Yamaha mini bike during the three-day event

It’s time to get powered up and electrified at the Georgian College Auto Show at Barrie’s Georgian Campus.

The student-run show focuses on a fun time while educating people about electric vehicles.

Director of Media and Marketing Relations, Grace Stein says several electric vehicles will be available for a test drive from manufacturers like Ford, Toyota, and GM.

“Because we’re a non-selling show, it relieves the stress of a pressurized selling environment. Nobody’s trying to sell anything to you. You can ask all the questions you want.” she says.

“We’re letting the test drives go off campus, so it’s a decent size test drive.” Stein adds.

Kids can put the pedal to the metal in the kid’s zone, which features Yamaha mini bikes, laser tag, bouncy castles, a dog show, and much more.

It takes place at the Georgian College Barrie Campus from June 2 to June 4.

Kids 12 and under are free, and adult admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased at georgianautoshow.ca
