The Annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's is back again raising money to support persons living with dementia. Funds raised during the event will help support the over 10,000 residents living with this condition.

The Alzheimer's Society is a leading Canadian funder of dementia research, having raised more than $59 million in biomedical and quality of life research since 1989 and one of their chapters is located right here in Simcoe County.

The challenge issued this year is to walk 10,006 steps, one for every person living with dementia in Simcoe County. You can complete it in any way you choose, be it in one day, one week, or one month. You can also sign up by yourself or put a team of friends and family together!

Head over to the website and register. Keep an eye on the event progress tracker and let's help The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County reach its goal!
