Give a Little, Help a Lot Campaign is once again supporting the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka

A toonie goes a long way

Zehrs’ Give a Little, Help a Lot campaign will once again support the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and help them continue to provide programs and opportunities for children to connect with others and stay healthy.

From now until July 26th, Zehrs locations in Alliston, Barrie, Bradford, and Orillia will be inviting shoppers to add a $2 donation to their grocery bill.

The YMCA is one of Canada’s largest and longest-running charities having opened its doors in 1851, providing vital community services and helping community members deal with issues including unemployment, social isolation, poverty, and more. They also provide youth engagement programming, helping young people face challenges and build a better future for themselves and their communities.

“The Give a Little, Help a Lot campaign gives children the opportunity, no matter their financial circumstances, to access YMCA programs and be part of a supportive community,” says Brian Shelley, Vice President, of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka. “The YMCA is playing a significant role in the economic and social recovery of communities due to COVID-19 and that includes ensuring kids and their families continue to have access to the resources they need. We appreciate the generosity of those who give and guarantee these meaningful experiences for children are available now and in the future.”
