There will be no weekend GO train service from Barrie April 26-27 and May 3-4 due to what Metrolinx says is "important construction work."

"GO buses will run between Allandale Waterfront GO and Highway 407 bus terminal," according to Metrolinx.

If you are travelling to Downsview Park GO or Union Station, commuters are advised to use replacement GO buses to Highway 407 bus terminal, then connect to TTC Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Downsview or Union Station.

Travelling from Downsview Park GO or Union Station, Metrolinx says commuters can take TTC Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Highway 407 station where replacement GO buses will continue towards Barrie.

Replacement GO buses may depart at different times than train schedules.

Plan ahead and check schedules before you travel.
