Metrolinx is advising passengers to consider GO bus routes 65 and 68 as alternatives.

Weekend service changes begin Saturday, Sept. 12.

Trains will run every two hours between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m., with additional GO bus service available on routes 65 and 68.

Metrolinx says the changes are intended to support crew training and certification and to help GO recover from high ridership during FIFA, while preparing for future service needs.

GO says the temporary measures are expected to remain in place until spring 2027.
