
Ontario Provincial Police say they are looking for two people who allegedly stole the car of a Good Samaritan who stopped to assist following a crash on Highway 400 on Tuesday morning.
Police told Barrie 360 the collision involved a stolen pickup truck and a pair of tractor trailers in the northbound lanes south of Lloydtown - Aurora Road, around 6 a.m. In a post to X, OPP said the crash caused "extensive guardrail damage" and the two right lanes will remain closed until later later Tuesday evening for repairs.

According to police, the occupants of the stolen pickup truck, a man and a woman, fled in a grey Honda Fit.
The truck was reported stolen to police in Halton Region.
