Police investigating theft from Gravenhurst construction site

Occurred sometime overnight on December 7 or during the early morning hours of December 8

Provincial police say they are investigating the theft of multiple tools from a construction site in Gravenhurst.

OPP say the site is on Talisman Drive, and the incident occurred sometime overnight on December 7 or during the early morning hours of December 8.

The tools are valued at approximately $2200 and several of them have notable initials "SP" engraved into them or "CG" written in black.

Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance footage in the area around the Talisman DriveGeorge Beard LaneEdward Street area to check their footage.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or may have seen suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
