With over 53,000 people (over 18,000 of whom are children) living in low-income households in Simcoe County, getting ready to go back to school can be an expensive and stressful time. Thankfully, you can help Glowing Hearts Charity ensure that every child has the tools they need to make their school year successful.
Glowing Hearts Charity's mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty by empowering children and youth to realize their full potential. By 2027, Glowing Hearts will enable 2500 children and youth, vulnerable to poverty in Simcoe County, to access resources and opportunities that support their growth, confidence, and self-determination.
This year, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible, the Backpacks for Youth initiative will only be accepting monetary donations. However, this will enable them to buy supplies in bulk, allowing donations to go the extra mile and fill up even more backpacks!
