High Tech Campus Addition Unveiled
Georgian Officially Opens Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre
Georgian College cut the ribbon on a new centre named for a local businessman.
The Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre officially opened at the north Barrie campus today, and came with a bunch of high tech bells and whistles from which students will learn. The new centre offers courses in engineering, environmental sciences, along with virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

“The benefits of the new Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre are many,” said Georgian College President MaryLynne West-Moynes.

The $30-million, three-storey facility was made possible in part through a donation by the owner of Moore Packaging, Peter Moore.
