UPDATED:
Orillia OPP confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that a person was found deceased inside a log home, scene of a fire on Concession Road A in Ramara Township, east of Gamebridge.
The Ontario Fire Marshal and the Officer of the Chief Coroner of Ontario are investigating.

The owner of a log home is "unaccounted for" as fire crews from Ramara Township battled a blaze at the residence early Tuesday.
According to Ramara Fire in an email to Barrie 360, a call came in shortly after 5:30 a.m. about a fire at a one-and-a-half-storey log home at 1686 Concession Road A, east of Gamebridge.
There were no other occupants or pets in the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damage is pegged at $350,000.
Rama fire crews received assistance in battling the fire from Brock Township and Rama First Nations.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been contacted.
