The Simpsons is letting go of a 35-year-old gag… Homer will no longer strangle Bart.
Since the show's inception, Homer would lung at Bart's neck when the young lad misbehaved.
However, Homer had changed his questionable ways and made that clear in a recent episode titled "McMansion & Wife."
In the episode, someone comments on Homer's tight handshake grip, and he says to his wife, "See, Marge, strangling the boy paid off," he joked.
He added, " Just Kidding, I don't do that anymore. Times have changed."
Fans of the show are applauding their bald friend's decision to scrap the gag. However, it leaves people wondering when was the last time he strangled Bart.
He dropped the practice a while back, but fans are trying to pinpoint the last time it happened.
