Hospice Simcoe benefits from funds raised through Noella Tree Lot

The Noella Tree Lot has been a downtown tradition for 10 years

Release from the Downtown Barrie BIA

A thank you from the Downtown Barrie BIA to everyone who visited our Noella Tree Lot in support of Hospice Simcoe. Set up in the heart of our community at Meridian Place the lot is a fun and festive way of giving back over the holiday. Now that we’ve caught up from Christmas and the flurry of the season, we’re glad to be able to pass on the proceeds.

Our Operations Manager, Stacey Zubczyk, recently presented Marilyn Guest from Hospice Simcoe with a cheque for $700, from the proceeds of the 2022 Noella Tree Lot. Hospice Simcoe serves our community in remarkable ways. Hospice palliative care is aimed at relieving suffering and improving the quality of life for persons who are living with, or dying from, advanced illness or are bereaved. This care includes pain and symptom management in conjunction with social, psychological, spiritual and practical support.

Downtown Barrie is proud to support such an important cause. The Noella Tree Lot has become a beloved event in Downtown Barrie and we look forward to continuing the tradition.
