HUNTSVILLE, Ont. - Between January 16-18, break-and-enters were reported at three separate restaurants, prompting investigations by Huntsville's OPP detachment.
The first came reportedly came on the 16th at approximately 12:30 a.m., when a male suspect wearing a brown, work-style jacket and carrying a green, re-usable shopping bag forced entry to a restaurant near Yonge St. North and Main St. West. An undisclosed amount of cash and several chocolate bars were stolen.
Two days later, at approximately 3:15 a.m., two dark-clothed suspects forced entry to a restaurant around Main St. East and John St.
Just 30 minutes later, approximately 3:45 a.m., two suspects forced entry to a restaurant near Main St. East and River St., taking an undisclosed amount of cash. The first suspect was described as wearing large, bulky winter boots, blue jeans, and a dark green or grey hooded winter jacket, while the other suspect appeared to be wearing a red and black plaid jacket.
This investigation is ongoing.
