
Another busy weekend has come and gone for Hunstville OPP, which caught two impaired drivers during the penultimate weekend of September.
"Officers of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are always looking for criminal driving behaviour," the detachment said in a news release.
Both accused drivers were stopped and charged in Huntsville, and will eventually appear in a Bracebridge court in October.

Saturday, at 3:33 a.m., officers reported to a vehicle in a ditch on Falcon Road, where they detected an odour of alcohol.
Police asked the driver to perform a roadside screening test, which was failed. Subsequently, the 19-year-old driver from Huntsville was charged with impaired operation and driving while suspended.
They were issued a 90-day driver's license suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Sunday, at 7:10 a.m., police were dispatched to a male in a vehicle that was potentially unconscious on Old Ferguson Road.
Upon arrival, officers determined the man to be impaired and charged the 38-year-old from Sprucedale with impaired driving.
He was also issued a 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impound.
