Identity Theft Suspect Has B.C. Ties

Penetanguishene Woman's Identity Stolen To Finance British Columbia Spending Spree

Police in Penetanguishene are on the hunt for a suspected identity thief, after a local woman says she spied some out of place actions with her mail.

She suspected her mail was being forwarded without her knowledge, while investigators say that’s because someone stole her identity.

Investigators claim the identity theft suspect went as far as buying a few thousand in electronics in the victim’s name, from a big box store in British Columbia. It is believed the suspect has ties to B.C.
