South Simcoe Police made two impaired driving arrests in Innisfil on Friday — including one driver caught travelling more than twice the speed limit.
Police say a 56-year-old man from Waubaushene was stopped on Sideroad 20 near Killarney Beach Public School around 8:45 in the morning.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of impaired driving, along with having an open container of liquor and driving with an unvalidated permit.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Less than half an hour later, officers stopped another driver on 10th Line after allegedly clocking the vehicle at 108 kilometres an hour in a 50 zone.
Police say the 29-year-old man, from Barrie, told officers he was late for work.
He was arrested and charged with stunt driving, speeding and two counts of impaired driving, along with additional offences.
His licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
