The Town of Innisfil is pleased to advise that the Significant Weather Event declaration has been terminated. The declaration was issued on March 30 at approximately 9 a.m. in response to a severe ice storm.

During a Significant Weather Event, all roadways and sidewalks are considered to be in a “state of repair” and may be unsafe. Starting now, the standard timeline for road and sidewalk maintenance will resume as detailed in the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways under Ontario Regulation 239/02.

The Town continues to respond to post-ice storm recovery and cleanup efforts. Municipal facilities and recreation programs have all resumed normal operations. For more information, please visit www.innisfil.ca/icestorm.
