There are 3 ways you can support Innisfil's Christmas For Kids this year!

Give Santa a little help!

While Christmas For Kids helps Innisfil families through the year, Christmas is their big push and there are 3 awesome ways you can help.

Christmas For Kids has been helping support struggling families for over 25 years through their Backpack Program, Easter and Thanksgiving Food Drives, Birthday Present Program, providing various other assistance measures, and, of course, their Christmas Campaign.

The first way you can help is by simply heading over to the website and clicking the donate button. Christmas For Kids collects Christmas lists from all the families they support, so donations can help them purchase gifts directly off a child's wish list!

The second way is by checking out where one of their various drop-off locations are and donating the items they need. A full list can be found here, but they include things like groceries, toys, and gift certificates. Drop-off locations will be up and running starting November 12.

The final way to help lets you get a bit more personal. Contact one of the coordinators (contact information is on the website) and they will arrange to get you something called a Christmas Angel. Inside the angel will be a child's name and the item they hope to receive. Then you simply buy the item, attach the angel, and drop it off at Innisfil Town Hall on December 13th! You might even see a few Christmas Angels at some local businesses so be sure to grab one and fill it if you do!

Also, if you need any help this Christmas, they are encouraging everyone to contact them to ensure every child can have a merry Christmas.

"If anyone needs help this Christmas, they should reach out to me or Debra Harrison. If you live in Innisfil, have a child enrolled in Innisfil schools, and you can tell us a bit about your story, we'll register you in the program" said Myrlene Boken, President of Christmas For Kids.
