It Looks Like The Season Of Giving Has Been Extended In Coldwater

Clearly Their Hearts Aren't As Cold As Their Water.
Coldwater Hockey Donation

The Coldwater Minor Hockey Association has donated $500 in support of Lexi LaChappelle, a local 8-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy.

Lexi recently underwent extensive surgery at Sick Kids that would allow her to move freely, without pain, and with increased endurance. However, the surgery was not covered by OHIP or private insurance so the family has taken on the large financial burden.

On top of the $500 donation made to the family, the Coldwater Wildcat Peewee teams are hosting a fundraising skate to help raise even more in Support of Freeing Lexi's Legs. The event takes place on February 1st from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Coldwater Community Centre and costs $5 per person or $10 for the whole family. Along with skating, there will also be chili, baked goods, and a 50/50 draw.
