Jamie Foxx has broken his silence to let fans know he's doing okay.
In April, the 55-year-old actor was hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.
He posted a 3-minute video to Instagram over the weekend, saying he's been "to hell and back" but is on the road to recovery.
He explained to fans why he didn't post about his recovery until now.
"I just didn't want you to see me like that; I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through."
Since he was first hospitalized, his condition has been under much speculation.
Foxx acknowledged some of the rumours that were spread. "Some people said I was blind, but as you can see, the eyes are working," he said as he crossed his eyes.
He said he's not paralyzed, but his road to recovery had some potholes, but he can now work.
He also acknowledged all the love and support he got from his family, friends and fans.
