A study conducted by a team from Kyoto University and published in Eurosurveillance suggests that nearly two out of 10 people with COVID-19 have no symptoms.

The study looked at the recent outbreak that occurred on the Diamond Princess cruise ship and the analysis concluded that 17.9% of those with COVID-19 remained asymptomatic with a 95% credible interval (15.5% to 20.2%).

This study further shines a light on the importance of social-distancing and self-isolation. If you are arriving home from a trip or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, stay home. Let's all help flatten the curve and protect the most vulnerable members of our community.
