Got Talent? Kempenfest looking to fill two stages at this year's festival

Barrie's annual Kempenfest is looking for local talent to perform on its two stages at this year's festival.

“Performing at an event like Kempenfest provides a great opportunity for developing live artists to be seen and heard, and to practice delivering their show in a large festival setting,” says Paul Fairley of Admiral Live.

Kempenfest has two stages – the OLG Main Stage in the Rotary Beer Gardens, and the KOOL-FM Family Stage in the Youth Village, with over sixty hours of programming to fill between them.

Organizers are looking for local bands and performers in most genres, including rock, country, indie, urban, pop, dance, and kids entertainers.

Performers can apply through the Kempenfest website.

The deadline for submissions is February 28, 11:59 p.m.
