Knife-wielding man arrested by Barrie Police

He was transported to Barrie Police Headquarters where the investigation continued,” police said in a news release on Monday.

The man has been charged with the following:

  • fail to comply with probation order (7 counts)
  • cause a disturbance
  • carrying a concealed weapon
  • possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • assault police with a weapon

The man was held for a bail hearing that was scheduled to take place on Monday.
