Rock 95 and Kool FM accompanied Santa on a visit to the Royal Victoria Hospital this morning to deliver Christmas gifts to children who may not be able to go home for Christmas.
The toys delivered were all courtesy of the generous donations from the community to the Rock 95 Kool FM Toy Drive. The children absolutely lit up with excitement at the sight of Santa entering the room.
These are the special moments that inspire Rock 95 and Kool FM to organize the Toy Drive every year. General Manager of Rock 95 and Kool FM, Dave Carr said this:
"It’s so amazing to witness how people step up and help the Rock 95 Kool FM Toy Drive. It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to come together as a community and make sure that no kid goes without a Christmas."
The annual Toy Drive coordinates with over 30 charities in the community and helps give a Christmas to hundreds of children.
RVH fundraising assistant Robyn Blanchet said, "It was very much appreciated. I look forward to working with Rock 95 and Kool FM on this project for next year."
