Leafs take 2-1 series lead with 2-1 win in Montreal

Game Four tonight

The Maple Leafs took a 2-1 lead on the Canadiens in their NHL playoff with a 2-1 win last night in Montreal.

Nick Suzuki put the Habs on the board first; Nylander – with his third in as many games – and Reilly were the goal-getters for the Leafs.

Jack Campbell made 27 saves for the win, but Carey Price had the show stopper with a paddle save to rob Jason Spezza. While Price stood on his head in the early going, it was Campbell who stood tall in the final minutes of the game, surviving a steady barrage of pucks from the Canadiens.

Nick Foligno sat out for the Leafs with a lower body injury.

Game four is tonight in Montreal.

Kyle Connor scored in triple overtime to give the Jets the series win over the Oilers.
