“Let’s get it done” says Premier Ford of RVH expansion

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) President and CEO Janis Skot took Premier Ford on a tour of the facility Thursday, visiting with patients and getting a look at expansion plans for the hospital. “…he just kept saying, ‘Let’s get it done. How much was that? Let’s get it done’,” said Skot, “It was a very positive visit.”

Skot went on to say Ford was very personable, “He spoke so nicely to the patients. He gave people his cell phone number, and said, ‘If you need anything, please give me a call’.”

Ford also made stops at Georgian College to take part in a funding announcement for the nursing program, and at the COVID vaccine clinic at the Holly Recreation Centre.
