Seinfeld actress Liz Sheridan passes away
Another classic comedian has passed away.
Liz Sheridan, known for playing Jerry Seinfeld's mom on "Seinfeld," passed away at 93.
Reports say she died of natural causes.
This comes two weeks after the death of her co-star, Estelle Harris, who played Estelle Costanza on "Seinfeld."
Sheridan started her career as a nightclub dancer in the 1920s at Caribbean clubs before landing several television roles throughout her career.
In 1986 she landed a role as the neighbour on the Sitcom "ALF" and Helen Seinfeld in 1989.
She would appear in over 20 episodes throughout the show's nine-season run.
In 2000, she released a memoir called "Dizzy & Jimmy," in which she talked about her romantic relationship with James Dean pre-fame.
In a Twitter post Jerry Seinfeld posted about his TV mom saying
"Liz was always the sweetest, nicest TV mom a son could wish for. Every time she came on our show it was the coziest feeling for me. So lucky to have known her."

Four Part Tragically Hip documentary coming to Amazon Prime
When making a documentary about the Tragically Hip, there's no one better to do it than the brother of its late singer.
Mike Downie, the brother of the late Gord Downie, announced he's directing a four-part documentary series about the band and their influence on Canadians.
In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Downie explained,
"My objective is to not just tell the story of the band, but I think in many ways, you know, tell the story about what's been going on in the country for the last 40 years because I think in many ways, the band reflects that."
Downie says the documentary will feature never before seen footage and concerts, following them from their inception in high school, to becoming a stadium band.
Mike Downie worked on Hip projects before, including "Finding the Secret Path" in 2018.
The film followed Gord Downie's journey telling the story of Chanie Wenjack, a young Anishinaabe boy who died trying to escape a residential school in Ontario in 1966.
It was one of Gord Downie's final projects before dying of brain cancer in 2017.
The film's scheduled for release in 2024.
