Provincial COVID-19 numbers will be reported weekly beginning Thursday, June 16
Ontario reports 56 more COVID-19 deaths in the past week - 22 of them were long-term care residents.
The Ministry of Health says there are 1,328 patients in hospitals for the virus as of Thursday.
Of those, 137 are in intensive care and 54 are breathing with the help of a ventilator.
They say 60 per cent of ICU patients were admitted for the virus and 40 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive.
