Local business directory being added to supportive Barrie Facebook group

Directory can be accessed on Barrie Families Unite

A Facebook group dedicated to uniting Barrie Families during the COVID-19 Pandemic has come a long way in just 5 weeks.

Since its inception, Barrie Families Unite has been a platform for support, information, and positive messages. Now they plan on expanding that platform by launching a local business directory.

Group admin Nikki Glahn says small local businesses add themselves to the directory by filling out an online form. “It takes a few minutes to complete, once our team receives the information, they will be inserted into the directory under the correct category.”

The directory will continue to expand Glahn says. “This will be an ever-expanding document as business owners fill out the form. The directory will continuously be evolving and growing!”

The directory will be available on the Barrie Families Unite Facebook page. Members can search by general sector for a trades person, lawyer, therapist, florist, musical teacher, etc. It’s inclusive of all the small business owners out there.
