Move over Sommersby, we've found a new favourite cider and it's brewed right here in Barrie. Heritage Estate Cidery and Winery is Barrie's first and only boutique vineyard and cidery.
Heritage Estates beverages are crafted out of 100% Ontario apples and are free from additives or preservatives with less than half the sugar content of most larger commercial ciders.
Peter and Jocelyn McArthur are the proud owners and operators of Heritage Estate Winery and Cidery, which includes a century farmhouse, tasting room, wedding venue and an on-site processing facility.

Apple Wine- Gold (2nd year in a row)
Dragon's Gold Dry Cider- Gold
Eden's Apple Semi Sweet Cider- Bronze
Heirloom Cider- Silver
Blueberry Apple Sangria- Bronze
This competition featured breweries, wineries and cideries from Australia to Spain who entered over 250 ciders representing 21 different styles. Judging was done blind, meaning the judges didn't know what ciders they were tasting until after final decisions were made.
