"Simcoe Rising Star" talent competition returns for a second year to find Barrie's biggest stars. Hopeful contestants will have to make it through 3 rounds of competition including auditions, semi finals and a grand finale.

Twelve lucky finalists will be chosen to perform in front of a live audience for a chance at the champion title and some fantastic prizes. The grand prize is a trip for 2 to Puerto Plata Dominican Republic, 2nd place prize is $1000 and 3rd place will take home $500.
If you've got a talent that you want to share with our community, register here to audition by April 11th. Anyone above the age of 6 can give it shot.

Proceeds from the event will help support Finding Them Homes, a local organization that rescues stray dogs from Northern Ontario.
