Imogene Blake and Anthony Baptiste of Barrie can “find their possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $59,864.40 in the December 11, 2024, draw.
Imogene and Anthony, married parents of two, have been playing the lottery together for more than 30 years. They enjoy playing a variety of games and are no strangers to winning big. In December 2015, the couple won $250,000 with DAILY KENO. Then, in November 2017, they won $1 million with LOTTO 6/49. The retirees were thrilled to return to the OLG Prize Centre to claim their most recent win!
“We were at home when I scanned our ticket on the OLG app,” Imogene recalled, as she and Anthony visited the OLG Prize Centre to pick up their windfall. “I brought the ticket to Anthony to share the good news, and we went to the store the next day to have our ticket validated.”
“It felt amazing because we won this prize with numbers I’d chosen based on family birthdays,” Anthony smiled. “No matter how big or small the prize, it feels special to win with numbers you picked yourself.
With their winnings, Imogene and Anthony look forward to taking a trip together.
The winning ticket was purchased at Young Convenience on Minet’s Point Road in Barrie.
