Netflix does some things very well, but it still has to perfect live tv.

Fans of the reality show "Love is Blind" were stood up Sunday night when the streaming giant tried to hold a live reunion.

The highly anticipated live reunion show for Love Is Blind 4, was scheduled to air at 8 pm.

By 9 pm, there was still no show, with messages like "There's an issue with the live stream" and "Hang tight! We're trying to fix it as soon as possible" on their screens.

This gave fans plenty of time to come up with clever memes and posts about the delay.

Netflix issued an apology to fans saying, "To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned," and added, "We're filming it now, and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry."

The show eventually began nearly 90 minutes after it was originally scheduled to start.

"Love is Blind" is a dating show where several contestants get to know each other over several weeks without ever seeing each other. Contestants are in pods where they can communicate but don't know what the others look like until they decide to get engaged.
