A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car near Barrie’s downtown bus terminal.
The Barrie Police Service says the 57-year-old man has since been airlifted to a hospital in Toronto for treatment of his serious injuries, after being struck shortly after 2:15 Wednesday afternoon.

Maple Avenue was closed for police investigation from Mary to Simcoe Streets, while police the driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene to assist in the investigation.
