OPP: Man arrested and charged after armed robbery investigation in Angus

Police say the incident happened at the B&M Variety

Nottawasaga OPP arrested and charged a man in relation to an armed robbery investigation in Angus on Saturday, July 1st.

Police say the incident happened at the B&M Variety, located at 23 Brentwood Road, at around 9:40 p.m.

"The incident lasted for roughly 5 minutes and the suspect stole a small amount of cash," OPP wrote in a release. "Nobody was injured during the incident."

A 29-year-old Angus man was arrested and charged with:

  • Robbery s.344(1)(a) x2
  • Disguise with intent s. 351(2).
