
A man who had behaved erratically at a South Simcoe Police station in Bradford caused significant damaged to a holding cell and furthered his charges.
Sunday afternoon, police were called to a report of a man acting suspiciously at a local park. Later on, at 8:40 p.m., the man drove himself to the police station.
After an investigation, officers determined the man was impaired and arrested him.

While the man was in custody, the accused repeatedly kicked the door and damaged plumbing fixtures, resulting in substantial flooding within the facility. The damage to the facility led to significant flooding in the station.

The man's driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He is scheduled to appear in court September 18.
