A 31-year-old Toronto man is facing charges including impaired driving and possession of more than one licence after Ontario Provincial Police conducted a traffic stop on Horseshoe Valley Road around 10:30 Sunday morning after an officer was alerted by the automated licence plate recognition system.
Provincial police said after a brief discussion with the motorist, the officer began an impaired driving investigation.
The other charges laid against the driver include driving a vehicle without a valid permit and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol content above zero.
The accused is to appear in court at a later date.
