Man Shot In Orillia, OPP Searching For Two Male Suspects

Police say the victim was shot and wounded at a Peter Street residence

Two men considered armed and dangerous are suspects in the wounding of a man during a shooting in Orillia.

OPP say they were sent to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital around six this morning with a report of a person who had been shot.

After speaking to the 35 year old victim from Orillia, OPP determined the incident happened at a Peter Street residence.

Peter Street was blocked off between King and Elgin Streets until shortly after 12 noon as officers scoured the area on foot, while a police helicopter flew over the scene.

The description of the suspects are as follows:

  • One Caucasian male.
  • One lighter skinned non-white male.
  • Both suspects are young, late teens early 20’s.
  • Both suspects are approximately 5’7″-5’9″ tall.
  • One suspect may have facial injuries.
