Ontario Provincial Police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a woman in Alliston.
On Aug. 26, 2022, police responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on Kidd Crescent. A 38-year-old female was found outside the home with gunshot wounds and was transported to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as Sibel Dunzguner of New Tecumseth.
On Thursday, police arrested and charged a 51-year-old New Tecumseth man with first-degree murder.
The accused was to appear in court by video link on Friday.
