Man treated and released after reports of shots fired in Victoria Harbour

Police say it is an isolated incident

Police are probing a shooting in Victoria Harbour that put one man in hospital for a short time.

Officers with the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment were called to a home on George St. around 8 p.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call reporting the sound of gunshots in the area.

Officers arrived to find a man being triaged by County of Simcoe Paramedics. He was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries, later released.
