Meats and Meds Taken From Barrie Grocery Store
Goods Dropped in Parking Lot To Make For Hasty Getaway
Barrie Police are hoping the man pictured here looks familiar to you, after a backpack was filled at an area grocery store.
Barrie Police say a suspect went to the No Frills on Wellington St. in Barrie around 2:30 January 13th, then filled his backpack with cuts of meat and non-prescription medication. He is accused of trying to leave without paying.
A Loss Prevention Officer approached the suspect in the parking lot, where the backpack was dropped in order to make a hasty getaway.
The suspect is described as:
- male
- white
- approximately 35-40 years old
- 5’10” -5’11”
- goatee
- short brown hair
- wearing blue jeans, long black winter jacket a green and white Saskatchewan Roughriders style ball cap.
