Members of the Kempenfelt Community Players are joining the fight against COVID-19

Costume Designers from the Kempenfelt Community Players (KCP) have started sewing masks and headbands (that can be attached to masks to alleviate ear strain) for healthcare workers.

The group is seeking donations of jersey knit fabric (or similarly stretchy fabric), buttons between .75″ and 1.5″ in diameter, seam binding, thread, non-fusible interfacing, and cotton or cotton-polyester fabric. They are also accepting cash donations in order to buy fabric and material in bulk.

If you would like to donate or pitch in with your own sewing skills, you can contact the KCP at kcpinformation@gmail.com.
