
An automated licence plate reader (ALPR) assisted Southern Georgian Bay OPP early Wednesday, leading to a traffic stop in Midland and the seizure of 30 grams of suspected cocaine.
Police say the vehicle was pulled over on King Street near Elizabeth Street.
Along with the suspected cocaine, officers recovered $3,200 in Canadian cash and an assortment of drug trafficking paraphernalia.

A 63-year-old Midland man was charged with drug trafficking, driving a motor vehicle with no insurance and driving while suspended.
His vehicle was impounded, and he was presented with an August court date.
