Minor Fire at Innisfil High School

Class Back in Session As Per Usual Tomorrow

The fire suppression system kept the flames at bay, after a fire started in a high school washroom.

Innisfil Fire says there were no injuries at Nantyr Shores Secondary, and that the sprinkler system there kept the fire from spreading as firefighters made their way to the school.

The Simcoe County District School Board says students were evacuated to nearby St. Francis of Assisi this afternoon. Classes will be back in session at Nantyr for tomorrow morning.
