Mobility Scooter Crash Sends Senior Citizen to Hospital

Vehicle's Driver Cooperating With Police

A 91-year-old man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after his mobility scooter was involved in a crash with a car in Barrie.

The collision happened on Ross St. near Bayfield, around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Police closed the roadway for the investigation into the crash. Its said he was crossing the street at the time of the crash, while the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.
