Motorcyclist injured in Bracebridge crash

Police charged the driver of a pickup truck

The driver of a pickup truck has been charged by the OPP following a collision with a motorcycle in Bracebridge.

According to police, the collision happened shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday on Highway 118 near Ashley Lane.

The motorcycle driver, a 37-year-old from Bracebridge, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police charged the 50-year-old truck driver from Bracebridge under the Provincial Offences Act.

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and Bracebridge OPP is asking all road users to be vigilant when encountering motorcycles.
