Several road closed for the investigation have reopened
Barrie Police

A 45-year-old Listowel man was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition following a motorcycle crash in west end Barrie on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson Peter Leon told Barrie 360 that around 9:10 a.m. officers were called about a collision involving a motorcycle and pickup truck. Leon says the motorcycle driver lost control of the bike and was ejected and travelled down the road and struck a pickup truck that was stopped at traffic lights at County Road 90 and County Road 27 (Townline Road).

As a result of the investigation, northbound County Road 27 is closed at Ardagh Road, and County Road 90 was closed between Miller Drive and George Johnston Road.

The roads have since reopened.
