Deadly motorcycle collision in Ramara

OPP say the T-bone collision involved a motorcyle and an SUV

A T-bone crash between a motorcycle and SUV near Gamebridge Friday afternoon claimed the life of the bike rider.

Orillia OPP say it happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Ramara Road 47 and Concession Road A.

The lone person on the bike has been identified as 68-year-old Dennis Hughes of Georgina.

The driver and passenger of the SUV did not report any injuries.

The intersection was closed for four hours. Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
