A 33-year-old Oro-Medonte man has been charged with impaired driving after police say two people went to the Orillia OPP detatchment on Tuesday afternoon to report a collision that had occurred downtown.

Authorities say officers spoke with the drivers and found one of them to be showing numerous signs of being intoxicated.

Along with the impaired charge, the man's driver's licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
